FOR SALE: Original 8-Track of Boots Randolph's Hit Boots 1970 on Monument Records (Cat# 8044-18144). Boots Randolph was one of Nashville's most beloved session musicians and recording artists — a saxophone virtuoso known for the iconic Yakety Sax (later famous as the Benny Hill theme).

Track Listing:
Program A: Those Were the Days / Both Sides Now / Do You Know the Way to San Jose
Program B: Proud Mary / Aquarius-Let the Sunshine In / Without Love
Program C: Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head / Bridge Over Troubled Water / Rainy Night in Georgia (Part 1)
Program D: Rainy Night in Georgia (Concl.) / Love's Been Good to Me / Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down

This 1970 album features Boots giving his smooth saxophone treatment to the biggest pop hits of the day: Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Those Were the Days, Proud Mary, Both Sides Now, and more. It's a wonderful snapshot of early 1970s easy listening.

The cartridge is in good condition with a white shell (note: has a handwritten sticker "#5" on the top — appears to have been part of a personal collection). Original box included but worn.

Untested.

🎷 Yakety Sax! One of Nashville's true legends.
