FOR SALE: Vintage 8-Track of the Burt Bacharach & Hal David Composers Series Volume 1, performed by the London Symphonic Orchestra and Singers on the Windmill label (Cat# SAN-8-5002). This is the more sophisticated of two Bacharach tapes in this sale — a full orchestral treatment of the Bacharach-David songbook.

Track Listing:
London Symphonic Orchestra and Singers performing Bacharach-David compositions

Bacharach and Hal David were the legendary songwriting team behind Do You Know the Way to San Jose, Walk On By, Anyone Who Had a Heart, Close to You, and dozens more.

This London Symphonic recording gives those classic melodies a lush, cinematic orchestral treatment — beautiful background music for any occasion.

The cartridge is in good condition with an attractive gold and cream label. The Windmill label pressing is less common than major-label releases, making this a slightly more unusual find.

Untested.

🎻 Full orchestral Bacharach — sophisticated and beautiful.
