FOR SALE: Original 8-Track of Mac Davis's Baby Don't Get Hooked on Me (1972) on Columbia Records. Mac Davis was one of the great singer-songwriters of the early 1970s — a country-pop crossover artist who also wrote hits for Elvis Presley.

Track Listing:
P1: Baby Don't Get Hooked on Me / Naughty Girl / Friend, Lover, Woman, Wife
P2: Dream Me Home / Everybody Loves a Love Song / Half and Half (Song for Sarah)
P3: Poor Boy Boogie / The Words Don't Come Easy / Whoever Finds This, I Love You (Part 1)
P4: Whoever Finds This, I Love You (Conclusion) / The Lonesomest Lonesome / Spread Your Love on Me

This album features the title track Baby Don't Get Hooked on Me, which reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1972. Mac Davis went on to host his own NBC TV variety show. This is a genuine piece of early-70s country-pop history on the distinctive red Columbia TC8 cartridge.

Cartridge is in good used condition — the original orange shell is intact with typical age wear. Label is fully readable.

Untested.

🎸 Mac Davis also wrote In the Ghetto and A Little Less Conversation for Elvis!
