Freddy Fender's Before the Next Teardrop Falls hit #1 on BOTH the Billboard Hot 100 AND the country charts in 1975 - a rare crossover achievement. The album also features Wasted Days and Wasted Nights and Wild Side of Life. His blend of Tex-Mex, country, and blue-eyed soul made him a genuine phenomenon.
