FOR SALE: Original 8-Track of Guy Lombardo and The Royal Canadians - Is That All There Is?, recorded live at the Tropicana Hotel, Las Vegas. Capitol Records Cat# 8XT-340.
Guy Lombardo is a Canadian icon - born in London, Ontario, his orchestra became North America's most famous New Year's Eve band for decades, synonymous with Auld Lang Syne. This live Tropicana recording captures Lombardo and The Royal Canadians in their element: a glittering Las Vegas showroom. It is a fascinating document of 1960s Las Vegas entertainment culture and a genuine piece of Canadian musical heritage.

The cartridge is in excellent cosmetic condition - the label is vibrant, sharp, and fully intact. Stands out as one of the best-preserved pieces in the entire collection.
SPECIAL PROVENANCE: This tape still bears its original retail sticker from 'Car Stereo Center, 3817 Jean-Talon West, Montreal' - the store where it was first sold, likely in the late 1960s or early 1970s. That sticker is itself a small piece of Montreal retail history.
